Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:30 and appointments are available throughout our opening hours.
When making an appointment the receptionist will ask you for the reason for the appointment. This is at the request of the Doctors so that we can ensure we book you in with the most appropriate clinician and as soon as possible.
We always try to accommodate patients’ requests for a particular doctor or nurse. If this is not possible patients are informed of the reason at the time of making the appointment.
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner can deal with most acute on the day conditions such as chest infections, urinary tract infections and is able to prescribe if necessary.
Our practice nurse will look after patients with long term conditions and will do annual reviews for patients with conditions such as Diabetes and Asthma. She also does all baby and child immunisations, contraceptive pill checks and smear tests
If you use sign language then arrangements can be made for a British Sign Language Interpreter to attend your appointment. An interpreting service is also available to patients whose first language is not English. Please ask about these services when making your appointment.
It is our policy to respect the privacy and dignity of our patients. If you would like a chaperone to be present in your consultation, please let our reception team know as soon as you arrive for your appointment.
When you have booked an appointment at the surgery you can agree to receive a text message on your mobile phone as a reminder. All you need to do is let reception know that you would like to receive this service.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Please note that GPs at our practice cannot sign passport forms or Firearms licenses.
